Earlier today a beast known as "Holiday Planning" officially set fire to my 2012 To-Do List. Sometime around 3am EST as I was attempting to work, christmas shop and do my turkey day kitchen prep work simultaneously, I finally accepted the fact that anything that has not been accomplished so far ain't happening til 2013. This includes Project Life scrap booking, 30 consecutive days of Bikram yoga and a massive blog overhaul. Oh...and probably putting away that crib full of clean laundry we created yesterday. Any of you cosleepers out there also guilty of turning the crib into a gigantic clean laundry bin? No?...Well this is awkward!
So moving right along. Let's talk about gratitude! This time last year I was on bed rest, hoping and praying that this little girl would stay put for at least 8 more weeks. In the end she stayed put for 16 more weeks. For that I am unspeakably grateful. I'm also grateful for a certain little kanaille (aka rascal/troublemaker/booger) who made his appearance and made me a mom just over 3 years ago. And last but not least for the man who started this little family with me, and still claims to love me, even though I never close the closet doors and always eat all of the avocados and chocolate bars before he even knows I bought them.
