Hello, I'm Kristin, founder of Miniluu and co-founder of a Brooklyn-based family of [almost] four. The mister is from Germany and I'm from California (San Francisco to be exact). We met outside a flower shop one summer day when I was feeling down and decided to take a break from work to buy a bouquet to cheer up my desk. A few months later our relationship began and a few months after that we decided to start a family.

Did you notice the age difference? The pro is that he's old enough to know there's no such thing as a sane woman. The con is that it's heartbreaking to know I'll probably outlive him by a couple of decades. Plus he drives me crazy when he snail mails bills or says things like "What's np mean?"
November of 2009 added this little package of sheer beauty to our lives [Maximilian]:
And that's when my life began.
Now we are expecting baby two in March!
And I'm working on opening an online shop called Minilluu, with a lovingly curated selection of clothing, toys, furniture, gear and essentials for little ones.

The two most important things to me are family [that's a given] and healthy living [because I find that helps all of the other areas of my life]. And the 3rd most important is to work hard in all areas of life. Which I guess must be why I moved to this blasted place NY. Getting by here with a family gives new meaning to the phrase hard work.
